Karan Gas Facilities Project - Aramco, Saudi ArabiaDPS have provided Safety Management services to Saudi Aramco's Karan Project on the East Coast of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia near Jubail. This is one of Saudi Aramco's key multi billion dollar projects and it will supply sales gas for In Kingdom use. The project will extract non-associated sour gas from the Karan field via 4 offshore well heads and a tie in platform and deliver it to the processing facility via a 110km sub-sea and overland pipeline. 1.8 billion SCF per day of gas will be sweetened in the processing facility using 3 gas sweetening trains. The construction schedule is 39 months and will peak at 15,000 construction personnel. |
