DPS, in conjunction with Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) have developed a series of practical training programmes which comprises of individually accredited modules in the BSc (ordinary) Manufacturing of Pharmaceutical Products and MSc Pharmaceutical Validation Technology. This programme is suitable for people coming from a Production, Engineering or Quality background in a range of manufacturing industries.

These modules within the DPS / DIT Programme have been running successfully since 2006 in Ireland and Singapore and we have delivered this programme to over 600 people across 40 Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Companies in Ireland. One third of all those trained have been part of a Re-Skilling initiative for those coming from another industry sector who wish to work within the Pharmaceutical, BioPharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry.

The programme provides Up-skilling and Multi-skilling career progression pathways for those in technical roles (Production, Engineering/Maintenance, Quality and Validation) working within the Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturing Industry and Re-Skilling and Professional Conversion Programmes for those coming from different industries.

Upon successful completion of the modules, this will enable candidates to obtain academically accredited certificates and enter and progress within the Pharmaceutical Industry across a range of technical roles.

These unique industry recognized and relevant programmes with an academic accreditation have received significant government funding and support in both Ireland and Singapore.

These programmes are delivered by DPS’s Industry Specialists and allow candidates to enhance their career progression opportunities whilst achieving Life Long Learning goals in a structured education and training environment.

DPS Education and Training continues to grow their ever expanding portfolio of academically accredited training programmes specific to those who currently work within the Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry and those who wish to work within the industry along with ongoing government support.
