Sustainability“At DPS we believe that we have a responsibility to protect and enhance the environment and that this is an essential part of being a good corporate citizen. We have an ongoing commitment to reducing the environmental impact of all our activities and to enhancing the environmental sustainability of our business. As part of our commitment, we place a strict emphasis on complying with all applicable environmental legislation and we will monitor emerging legislation to ensure we remain compliant. As designers and employers we are conscious of our fundamental duty to act responsibly with respect to the environment. Sustainability is key to our design philosophy and decision making and environmental performance plays an important part in all our projects. We aim to protect and replace natural resources whenever possible and to minimise the use of non renewable resources. We have a commitment to recycle and reuse materials and to use recycled materials where practicable in order to reduce materials usage and waste generation. Continuous Professional Development courses on all Environmental and Sustainability topics are held with team members to promote and maintain a culture of sustainability awareness. All Staff are encouraged to support and aid in the implementation of this policy, and to use it as a framework upon which to build a more sustainable environment” |
